Antoine Samir Daou was born in Furn El Chebbak, Lebanon on August 24, 1984 at 8:00 a.m. He was a cute and handsome baby in the nursery room. Tony was raised with love and nurtured under the protection of a loving and caring family. He was like a new toy for the family and the neighbors who were enjoying his first angelic smiles and first moves. His loud voice filled the building with life. Tony started to walk at 8 months knocking at the neighbors’ doors and they could not see him being a small walking baby. He was the youngest among his brother and sister. Antoinette was 8 years older than him and Charles was 6 years older. He grew with a unique personality since he did not like to see anybody sad or tired. He always liked to see everybody happy around him and tried to help and advice. Wherever he went, he planted joy and happiness with his contagious and irresistible smile.

Antoine’s first school years were at “Notre Dame Du Perpetuel Secours” at Furn El Chebbak. Then he was moved to “Freres” Furn El Chebbak. Later, he joined the internal school at Bhersaf where he started his studies as an electrician. During that time, he went home on weekends and Holidays only until he got his middle degree in Electricity. Next, he moved to Dekwaneh Professions Teaching Academy for 4 years. During that time, he was a Lebanese Forces Activist and assumed increased responsibilities as an LF student. Tony did not stop there; he got his degree in Electro-Technician with Excellency and he was waiting for his final graduation in 2007/2008 but unfortunately the criminal hands got him and he became the Martyr Tony Daou on September 19, 2007.

As part of his fun and hobbies, Tony liked music and worked as DJ in his spare time. He was an ambitious person and loved to help everyone. His loyalty was never questionable towards his friends; he was loved by everyone at school and in scouts. Tony believed deeply in God. Our prayers go to him and to his family.
